Our passion for dogs is at the heart of everything we do. West Vancouver Dog Sitters was born out of a deep love for dogs and a genuine appreciation for their unique personalities. As West Vancouver residents who grew up with dogs, Sophie and Mathew have channeled their lifelong affection for animals into providing exceptional care for your furry friends.
From pet sitting to group walks, private strolls, doggie daycare, boarding, pet taxi, and puppy visits, our services are designed to meet the diverse needs of each dog we care for. We’re here to ensure that your dog receives the love and attention they deserve, even when you can’t be there.

Meet Mathew!
Hello! My name is Mathew, and I love dogs of all sizes! I grew up with a Havenese Dog named Toby, while members of my family had Labs, Retrievers and Huskies. I work remotely for a large consulting company, and spend my free time enjoying hikes, days at the beach, and spending time with family and friends (and dogs!). I take the time to understand your dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs. I believe that every dog has its own way of expressing joy, comfort, and affection, and it’s my mission to tap into that. Whether it's through play, a gentle walk, or simply being there to offer a comforting presence while its owner is away, I make it my goal to see them happy and content. Meet Sophie!
Hello! My name is Sophie, and i have lived in West Vancouver for the last 10 years after moving from Calgary at age 13. I grew up with a Yellow Lab named Daphne, and currently have 2 dogs Jett & Koda who I love dearly at my parents house. I graduated from Carleton University in the spring, and am now caring for dogs full-time! I am not only passionate about dogs, but also very organized and attentive to their individual needs. Whether your dog is full of energy or more laid-back, I can keep up with them, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise and attention. Dog Walking
We offer personalized dog walking tailored to your pet's needs. We take the time to get to know your dog and customize each walk to match their comfort level. We offer private walks, group-walks, and nature adventure walks!.
Drop-in Visits
Our dog check-in service is perfect for when you're away for shorter durations. We’ll drop by your home to feed your dog, take them outside, and provide much-needed attention. This allows your dog to stay comfortable in their own home while your away!
